RW2016: a Bright Take on Lunch Set at Light & Salt

Restaurant Week is HERE!

The lunch set at Light & Salt is delicious and great value at RMB 128. The meal starts with a Truffle Roasted Cauliflower Cream and for each of the other courses you can choose among three dishes. My suggested menu is:

Entrée:
Wasabi Kingfish Tartar – deliciously balanced with a kick from the fresh wasabi paste.

Main Course:
Lemongrass & Ginger Poached Cod – a generous portion of mildly flavored cod fillet with lip-smacking, generously seasoned olive mashed potatoes.

Dessert:
Matcha Crème Brûlée – exactly the way I like my desserts, creamy, decadent and not too sweet. Really delicious.

I honestly think these three dishes out stood all other options. Another tasty dish was the beer braised chicken, with a perfectly moist delicious chicken leg and graciously tangy wine stewed onions.
