E.P.I.C. Cocktails by China’s Top Mixologist Cross Yu

Had a brilliant time at EPIC last night. We got to talk to the brain and arm of this bar, Cross, whom is also one of the best cocktail makers in China.

We ordered only drinks, some were a special reccommendadion from Cross. I asked him “if I were on a date with you and you got to pick my drink what would you choose?” He answered a sexy citrusy martini strong and sensual.

Next up, the EPIC side. And I stuck to that one. I simply love it! Vodka based with Apple
Liquor, fresh wasabi, lemon juice and a hint of mint and cucumber. Fresh, delicious, pungent. You’ll like it.

I’ve also had a try of all my three friends coktails. We especially appreciated the Lord of the Ocean, a taquila based crazy mix of ingredients with hazelnut syrup, egg white, sea salt, lemon and… Squid ink!

The ambience and decor are great. Artsy, but not too much, industrial but not too much, elegant but also raw. A bit of blasphemy in the art works, and I love it.

Expect 250-300 for 3 cocktails.

Lulu’s tip: bring a date and let them drown a couple of citrusy martinis.
